The Harrington puts a full winged headboard behind a TV footboard — tall vertical channelling across the back with deep side wings that come forward to frame the bed. Wings do something practical as well as decorative: they cut draught and side light, and in a large room they stop the bed drifting against the wall. The footboard houses the television on an electric, remote-operated lift and drops flush when it is not wanted. It is a substantial bed and it needs the room to carry it — worth measuring before you order. Hand-built to order in West Yorkshire, in double, king and super king.
